No one has stepped up for him yet. He is still sitting at Marion County Animal Services. Still waiting. Still hoping. Still needing someone to say, “I’ll take him.”

This beautiful 5-year-old male Husky has done nothing wrong. He was found as a stray, his hold is up, and now he is just… there. Waiting for someone to give him a chance.

We want to help him. We are willing to cover his veterinary needs. But we are completely full, and without a committed foster-to-adopt home, we cannot get him out. That is the heartbreaking reality. He does not need everyone. He just needs one person to step up. One home. One commitment. One chance to change everything for him.

Ocala Pet Palooza

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — OCALA PET PALOOZA!

Swampland Husky Rescue is headed to the 4th Annual Ocala Pet Palooza, and we need volunteers to help us represent the rescue!

October 17–18, 2026 Hours: 10 AM–4 PM

World Equestrian Center – Expo 2 | Ocala, FL

Saturday & Sunday We’ll need help with:

  • Staffing our rescue booth

  • Talking with visitors about our dogs & mission

  • Helping with rescue dogs attending the event

  • Setup Friday/Saturday morning

  • Breakdown Sunday afternoon

You don’t have to commit to the entire weekend! Even a few hours of your time can make a huge difference.
